Q - Where is your tailgate event located?

A - We are are located at 115 Wilkes Place, Charlotte, NC. A GPS or smartphone should get you there. Or, we are at E-Z Parking lot 4. Or we are at the corner of West Trade Street and Wilkes Place, near North Graham and West Trade Street. Or, we are directly across from the Greyhound Bus Terminal. I know of no other way to describe the location, yet, some people get lost. It is best to determine the location before you start drinking.

Q - What time do you get started.

A - We set up at sunrise. As a rule of thumb we are ready at 9 AM for a 1PM game or 4PM game. Check the website at www.extremetailgatesociety.com for scheduling of night games.

Q - Do you have TVs at the tailgate?

A - Yes. We have three flat screens with Direct TV for pregame watching. We watch the early game If we have a 4PM game. Weather permitting, we watch all games at the mobile tailgate sports bar. Stay and watch the game if you don't have tickets.

Q - How much is parking?

A - $15 to $20 is common in this area. There is $10 parking in a nearby deck.

Q - What do I need to bring?

A - We ask that you contribute in some way. The menu is planned in advance so let us know if you are coming so we will have plenty of food. Bring a side dish, bring your drink, bring your chair. Or, you welcome to come empty handed and toss a few dollars in the donation/tip jar to help cover costs. We are not vendors or caterers, and we do not have an ABC permit, so we cannot sell food or beer. We are willing to share. It is best practice to bring your own booze.

Q - Can I bring something to cook?

A - Yes but, the grill gets crowded and the cooking is choreographed to where it it fully utilized for several hours. Let us know in advance to assure you have some grill space.

Q - Is it true that you have a mobile sports bar?

A - Heck Yes, a one of a kind custom built bar with seating for 8 and a wide screen TV. The setup always brings a smile to new comers. Stay and watch the game if you don't have tickets. We have homemade chef mix and other snacks while you watch.

Q - Is there a bathroom or porta-john?

A - Yes, there is a porta-John nearby in the parking area. We keep several dispensers of hand sanitizer at the cooking area.
