PUP List Extreme Tailgate Society

A firm knock came to my door Last night at 11:30 PM, while I tossed and turned on the sixth floor of Novant Hospital recovering from disc surgery. It was Paul Kwon and his entourage paying me a visit.






He figured I'd be awake and decided since he was downtown that he would just as well pay me a visit.

I suspect however that he was evaluating whether or not I should be placed on the PUP list (physically unable to perform) used in the preseason training.

We Need A Name

Unique among tailgaters, this giant weber ranch makes its debut September 14, 2014. It is the largest kettle grill made by Weber. It heats with charcoal or wood, it can grill or smoke, it can have many heat zones and cook for 100.

Power, capacity, and size. This is a major league grill. What shall we name it?

Tradition at Our Tailgate

One must have a jar of pickled eggs at every tailgate to have a shot in the NFC post season. The last time I had a jar of pickled eggs was 2008 and we went 12-4 in the regular season. The pickles are just to make sure. Naw...we're not superstitious.


Well, it worked last year too and we won the NFC South and went 12-4 again.


This year? Carolina blue eggs. We are Super Bowl bound.
